Quote of the Day...

I was having "one of THOSE nights".  You know, the ones you don't like to talk about because you are being such a beast...  Apparently Tom was a little tired of my awesome attitude and called me on it. Lucky for me, I have some defenders...

Sam- "Dad!  Don't you know she's pregnant?"

Alix - "Yeah!  You don't even know what that feels like!"

Erin - "And I heard it's YOUR fault!!"

I don't actually know where she heard that or what exactly she heard, but it did fix my bad mood...

The girls were baptized on Saturday.  It was such a wonderful day.  They have been so excited and were very ready.  I've been taking them with me to Stake baptisms for the past few months as preparation (and since I have to go, why not take company?), on the way to and from the church, we have practiced and practiced and practiced what covenants they were going to make.  So they knew what they were doing and took it very seriously.

 The Macbeth side of the family.  Super fun to see so many of the "Bothellites" come down.  And mom and dad made it from St. George.

 Our ward gives out these blankets to all our kids who get baptized.  They're pretty awesome.

8 going on 5...

I know I keep saying how I can't believe the twins are 8, but they really are... It's the craziest thing to me.  I'm a little late, but here are some birthday pictures of them and their party...

A few months old. I honestly have no idea which is which in the picture, and I'm a little too lazy to look it up...  If I had to guess, I'd say Erin is on the bottom and Alix on top.  Why?  No idea...  

The night before their birthday, this is how they spent it.  Alix is for sure on the left, Erin on the right...

And sleeping on the bean bag together.... They were together the day before they were born and still sleeping together the day before their 8th birthday.  (They don't even share a room anymore, but they still end up sleeping together a lot and even in separate rooms, they are in the same sleeping position 90% of the time as the other one.  It's crazy.) (Erin is now on the left and Alix on the right...)

 The girls wanted a "flower" birthday party.  This was their cake.  And then afterwards the girls got to decorate their little pot to take home...

 The girls all made flower headbands and felt flower bracelets.  It's a fun age.  They love being all crafty and stuff.  

 And once the masses went home, we went to Red Robin for dinner and came home to blow out candles.  

Fun, fun day. And if you're in town, the girls are getting baptize on April 13th....

The Day After...

Easter is when we do our Easter egg hunt.  This year we had 9 families and sunshine!  We've done it in the snow, rain and hail, so sun was a nice surprise.
